This is my watch.
My brother bought it for me in college. Why did he buy it for me? Because I was always late.
He said, “Here, Ted, this is a watch. It tells you what time it is so that you can get places on time. Use it often.”
I did use it often. And I was often on time.
I got so good at it (being on time), in fact, that I stopped wearing my watch about 2 years ago. And, for the most part, I’ve been remained fairly prompt.
Well, guess what? I started wearing my watch again this morning. Unfortunately, it was time—but now I’m on time.
